Hotel Palia Sa Coma Playa

The sea! Unfortunately, our trip this time was a huge disappointment. We had stayed here in 2019 and had a good experience, which is why we chose to return. This time the room was a disaster: it wasn’t clean, smelled unpleasant—especially the bathroom had a strong odor—and there was a loud noise from the central ventilation. The odor and noise were so disturbing all night that we could barely sleep. The coffee was also terrible and barely drinkable, and cups, glasses, plates, spoons, and forks were sometimes not clean. Overall, it felt like nothing had been renovated or improved since 2019; everything had just become worn and older. We complained every day, but only after four days did we finally get the room we had in 2019. That at least saved our vacation a little. I’m really sorry, but after this experience we won’t book a holiday here again. It’s a shame, because we returned because of our good memories from 2019.

“Pobyt był przyjemny.”

The hotel is huge, with a great location and stunning views, and it even has a green area where trees, palms, and lemons grow. Every department of the property offers friendly and helpful service, and the pool area is clean and well maintained. The biggest downside is the food quality – although there are many options, the overall standard is disappointing, especially the cured meats.

“Annak javaslom, aki szereti a hőséget. Mi nem fogunk visszatérni.”

The hotel’s location is wonderful, close to the beach. The food was tasty and varied. However, there was no air‑conditioning in the restaurant or lobby, which was especially uncomfortable to eat in 34‑35 °C humid heat. In the room, the AC was weak, and at maximum setting it was noisy, especially at night.

“Good”

Getting to the hotel is easy thanks to its excellent spot near the shopping mall and the waterfront, with the beach only a few hundred metres away and plenty of shops around. The rooms are tidy and the amenities are average; the dining choices are good, but the main meals lack variety. There is no private parking, so finding a spot close to the hotel can be tricky at times.
