“A gem of a B&B”
The place sat in a peaceful spot with walks right outside the door, the room was gorgeous inside a converted old barn, the host was super friendly and the tea and cake they offered at arrival was a sweet touch.

The location was spectacular, the hosts were welcoming, the room was roomy and well furnished with a small sitting area outside, the breakfasts were tasty, especially the full English, but there were creaks and footsteps from the room above at night.

Everything worked out perfectly, the staff were diligent and made a happy place for lucky travellers to stay.

The location was amazing and Helen was brilliant, but the room was noisy from upstairs, though that was just a natural thing in a beautiful old building.

Everything about Sandhills was excellent: the rooms were immaculate, breakfast was delicious, the location was peaceful and beautiful, Helen our host was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the walk from Sandhills to Bassenthwaite Lake and the church there was lovely.
