The location was good, breakfast plentiful, and the room and services were clean. We couldn’t leave our luggage before check‑in, and with no night porter we had to run around to return before midnight.

The breakfast was very good and varied, with classic pastries, bread, salami, cheese, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, jam… The internet worked. The room was super clean. The mattress was very hard, walls were thin and everything could be heard. The hotel is a bit old‑fashioned, and the staff don’t even speak a word of English.

Mr. Martini was a wonderful person, welcoming and very open to conversation; chatting with him was a pleasure. Breakfast was very generous, homemade, tasty, and varied. The hotel is dated, and unfortunately many of the facilities are in clear disrepair, which was disappointing to see. Even with three stars, a slight modern touch and renovation would be advisable.

There was plenty of space for the dog, but the windowsills were filthy. The welcome was via a secondary entrance because of the dog. The bathroom was very uncomfortable, the sink had a rusty tap, and the shower was extremely tight.
