The former castle with a property was everywhere messy, the outdoor hot tub had spoiled water and was non‑functional, the pool had been out of service for a long time, and its premises housed a brothel storage. The grass was uncut. The website praised the dinner, but they didn’t cook, so we had to go to Křivoklát. The bedroom had no nightstands, no lamps, windows that couldn’t be darkened, and all the doors creaked to the floor. I’ve never been disappointed by Booking’s offer like this before.

“Dobré na přespání pro nenáročné cestovatele”

A peaceful spot in a tiny village, spotless room, comfy bed and a very good breakfast. We stayed one night in July 2026 and the overall impression was a bit chaotic. The castle grounds, though renovated, were littered with random items like flower pots, canisters, an old sewing machine and a green‑water jacuzzi, which felt untidy. Our room was a former storeroom with tiny windows that couldn’t be darkened, even the bathroom shared this issue. Nightstands, lamps, hangers or even a chair were missing, leaving nowhere to set our things. The bathroom used a small washbasin meant for toilets instead of a proper sink. The biggest disappointment was the “dining/bar/pub” area where we ate breakfast – it looked creepy and uninviting, packed with assorted junk, messy and far from cozy. If the owners tidied up a bit, it could be decent, but for me it’s just average.
