The accommodation is relatively central, about 30–35 minutes from the city centre. From Heathrow Airport it takes about an hour by tube. There’s a shared kitchen where you can keep your own groceries in the fridge. Up to four people can stay there (if all rooms are occupied). The room was spacious, the mattress very comfortable – I had no back pain. There’s also a wardrobe, a small desk, a side table and a clothes rack, absolutely sufficient for the stay. The bathroom and WC were unfortunately not clean. Contacting the host was somehow difficult; the phone number listed on Booking was incorrect. Only after two inquiries did I get the right number. Apparently there are no fixed quiet hours: at 3 am someone was cooking in the kitchen. The wall insulation is generally very poor… The ventilation, especially in the bath and WC, was inadequate; it was constantly very warm and stuffy. I chose this place for the cheap price, but I would not book it again.

Ruime zit/slaapkamer, heel goed bed, goede voorzieningen, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer. Boven verwachting. Het kan, afhankelijk van andere gasten, wat gehorig zijn

The staff were lovely and friendly, making sure I was well looked after and all my needs were met. The room was spacious, with a super comfy bed, WiFi, and the best part was a fully heated room day and night. The other tenants were respectful and helpful, even helping me settle in on the first day (thank you Ridwan).
