The location and quick service for what we asked were good, even though the Wi‑Fi issue wasn’t fixed. Wi‑Fi only works on the ground floor and breakfast is very basic.
Everything was fine except breakfast; the breakfast didn’t live up to the location.

The large garden lets you forget the noisy streets nearby, and the pedestrian zone is still close. There’s a secure storage spot for bicycles in a shed, with a place to keep them. The lift didn’t work and seemed to be either on or off. We were given a different room than the one we booked, which required climbing a long staircase. We were too tired to renegotiate.
The property is very pretty with a garden, a very friendly and helpful staff member, we could store our bikes easily, and breakfast was fine.
“, A pleasant stay in an excellent location, but lacking in comfort and attention to detail for the price.”
The B&B sits in a great spot, just a short walk from the train station and the historic centre. The room was roomy and tidy, the bed was decent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. But the pillows were awful, and given the price I expected far more in terms of facilities, attention to detail and breakfast. There was no coffee machine in the room, only a kettle that required unplugging the fridge because no other socket was available. On the first day I used the three tea bags and some sugar that were provided, but they were never refilled during my four‑day stay. I also spotted hygiene issues: a loose razor under the washbasin with no packaging, so I couldn’t tell if it was new, and shower caps that were loose, unpackaged, and stored in an upside‑down drinking cup on the tray; I only noticed them when I picked up the cup. These small details matter at this price point, where you’d expect clean and hygienic presentation. Breakfast was the biggest let‑down. The selection was very limited, especially for a protein‑based breakfast: no eggs at all, only a few small pots of yoghurt and very little protein. There were two types of white bread for toasting, small individual portions of jam and chocolate spread, and a limited amount of fruit, some of which looked noticeably brown. Two types of cheese were offered, but the same pieces were presented again each morning, shrinking in size over the course of my stay. Overall, breakfast felt very basic, lacking variety and freshness. Also, dogs were allowed inside the small breakfast room while food was being served.
