After nearly 20 years, returning to Sầm Sơn feels like a makeover; the planning seems even better than Nha Trang (the Nha Trang beachfront is crowded with resorts), the beach area is clean, the A, B, C beach spots are unchanged, and the service has improved dramatically—no more scary knife‑cutting incidents, the Sen House is fine, the service is good, I ate twice at the house, the food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable. Checking in via Messenger was confusing because the house requires a 30 % deposit before it’s considered confirmed; the texts were a bit abrupt.

Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were friendly and responded quickly. The room is meant for 8 people but only has one bathroom, which made things very inconvenient during our stay. Getting to the beach cost extra, adding to the overall expense. The toilet layout was awkward: opening the door puts the toilet right in front, and the shower is all the way behind it, so it’s not the most practical design.

The staff were very helpful, warm, and cheerful. The hotel was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and breakfast was self‑serve. The only downside was that the bathroom didn’t have a vent fan; after each visit, I had to wait until the noise stopped before I could go in.
