“This was our favorite stay on our 2 week road trip”
From the instant we stepped in, Sarah greeted us with a warm, friendly welcome, remembered all our names, and knew every detail about our dietary restrictions, guiding us through the inn and sharing its fascinating history. The interiors, styled by Sarah and Jeff, are stunning, with each room packed with thoughtful touches that make it feel more like home than a hotel. We had our own bedrooms and full access to the living areas, and the dining space was stocked with drinks and treats baked by Sarah for us. She even baked gluten‑ and dairy‑free cookies for my son, which he adored. This was by far the highlight of our two‑week road trip, and I’d love to return for a longer stay. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared each morning and tailored to the dietary needs of several people in our group. The only downside was the occasional train noise from the nearby railway line, which added character to the property; I enjoyed hearing the train pass in the morning, and the other rooms we stayed in didn’t notice any noise.
