It’s very close to the famous Sun Plaza and the mountainside view lets you see the monorail. I also liked that there’s a restaurant nearby. The staff are very nice, so I’d recommend it. There’s construction happening nearby, but they informed you about it beforehand.

The terrace offered a perfect view of the monorail! The boutique hotel, Sapa Yen, is exceptional. The suite room was reasonably priced and made my birthday stay extra special. All staff spoke English fluently, which was comforting after I couldn’t speak with most locals. They gave me very personalized birthday greetings, and when I entered the room filled with balloons it was so out of the box! Kudos from a hotelier myself. Nothing was wrong; everything was fine. I’d definitely return because Sapa is a must‑visit.

The rooms were great, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly.

I stayed on the ground floor, and the room felt a bit exposed because the restaurant is right underneath; I think the higher floors would avoid that issue.
