The hotel has a mix of freshly renovated areas and older parts, but I appreciate the sustainable approach rather than full demolition. Cleanliness is top‑level, the food is excellent, the vibe feels cozy, and the waitresses are especially friendly. There are plenty of loungers in the wellness zone, the gym is well maintained, and we used the squash hall often. The only thing that could use a tweak is the music selection in the bar and restaurant, though that’s a matter of taste. We didn’t ask for anything extra, so that’s on us.

The food and staff were good, but the rooms and available loungers left something to be desired.

Everything was great! The staff were very kind, helpful, and some even spoke Hungarian, enjoying chatting with us. Cleanliness was impressive. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The wellness area was fantastic; the sauna sessions followed by a dip in the little lake are a must‑try. Towels were always plentiful. Breakfast offered a wide selection, especially the freshly baked pastries and the pineapple and melon cold cuts. We could also request a fresh omelet made from our chosen ingredients. The coffee machine brewed strong, flavorful coffee, unlike the weak brews in other hotels. Dinner was a semi‑buffet: starters, a pre‑selected soup, main dishes, unlimited salad, cheese, cookies, and ice cream. The starter and main courses were gourmet‑style but generous portions. I needed plenty of the delicious, special cheeses to feel full. Soup and main dishes could be chosen that day or at breakfast. The menu included useful info like daily weather, recommended activities, and sights—very handy. The bar had a great evening atmosphere with many board games to choose from. The hotel’s location is excellent: quiet yet close to everything. If you bring a bike, you can leave it in the large, secure storage.
