The location was great, we could leave our bikes without any hassle, the sauna and pool were superb, and the restaurant was highly recommended in the evenings. The transparent pane in the bathroom and toilet felt a bit strange, but otherwise the bathroom and room were clean and comfortable.

The staff were friendly, the location was great, the pool was fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, and the breakfast was plentiful.

The hotel sits right in the old town, making it a solid base for exploring Beilngries. The complex is made up of several buildings, and we were assigned a room based on our category. We brought a small dog and still received a good room; in other hotels we sometimes felt we got a “worse” room, but not here. We weren’t allowed to bring the dog into the breakfast area, yet we were given a nice table in the restaurant, and the service was flawless, even the coffee was served there, which wasn’t the case in the breakfast area. The parking situation was very tight; if the hotel’s own parking is full it becomes extremely difficult, a drawback of the city centre location. Additionally, the extra fees for the dog were very high; a surcharge for special cleaning is fine, but this surcharge was unusually steep.
