The spot was awesome, I adored the garden and my room, loved the comfy sofa, and the hosts were fantastic (they even let me use the cruiser to skate); it’s close to all the main spots in Midigama—beach, party area, restaurants, station—yet still quiet, and I even made cool friends with local dogs and a cat. Just book far ahead if you want it, and remember to grab an adapter pin for the socket, though the landlord will always lend you his own.

The spot is perfect, just 100 m from Midigama beach, the establishment is clean, comfortable, and well‑equipped, offering great value for the price and location; the host is warm and available. I chose to book as is and am really satisfied; the only downside is the lack of Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, but you can’t expect everything for that price.

Everything was fine—spacious, clean, and fully equipped, with nice owners. The nearby beach isn’t ideal for swimming during the wet season; just hop on a cheap local bus for 100 lkr to Welligama.

The location, price, and hosts were great, plus the mosquito net and large beds were helpful. The night air didn’t circulate well, so even with the fans it stayed very hot in the room!
