“This was honestly the most horrid place I've ever stayed. I could never recommend to anyone.”
The staff were friendly and the tent was suitable for camping, but water was missing for 2 of the 5 nights and we couldn’t flush the toilets without it. There were only 3 showers and 3 bathrooms, all tiny like airline lavatories, for a large crowd. The stairways into the bathrooms were unstable and steep, one even lacking a railing. We had to drive to a parking spot marked for bathroom use because it was far from where we slept. Hot water never arrived. The whole campground was muddy and riddled with ruts; you need a vehicle with clearance or it will get damaged. There were no gravel drives, just mud and ruts that worsened when it rained. The kitchenette was exposed to rain and got completely wet. Cows wandered outside our tent, leaving fresh cow patties nearby. There were no safety measures: propane gas was always on, bear‑proof garbage cans were left open, and another container with food waste wasn’t bear‑proof. Food scraps and dirty dishes were left out, inviting bears. A large cooler that had fish was left outside overnight, creating a fire hazard with 3‑foot‑high grass and thistles growing right up to the tents, tipis, and cabins.
