Skibbild Bed no Breakfast

The host was sweet, the room was clean and nicely decorated with a bouquet on the table, which made me feel welcome. The bed and shower were good, the kitchenette with fridge/freezer and TV were fine, and the rent was cheap. The location was close to Herning. I had booked six nights and stayed in a small room on the first floor that shared kitchen, bathroom, and toilet with two other rooms; that wasn’t a problem while I was alone, and only one other person moved in during the last days. The stairs to the first floor are a bit steep. I would have liked a more comfortable armchair and a picture on the wall. The kitchen facilities aren’t suitable for elaborate cooking, not that I’m into that, but a hand blender would have been nice.

A last‑minute booking on the day worked out, communication was excellent, and the stay was very practical for a no‑breakfast overnight.

The only good thing was the private parking on the courtyard. The whole building creaked, the floor and stairs made noise, and the staircase up was so narrow and steep. Overall, the quality of everything was very poor.

The place was absolutely amazing, giving you a huge bang for your buck! The room was large, with a box spring mattress, a dresser with plenty of space, a desk and chair, an armchair with a footrest, a TV, and an extra pillow hidden in one of the drawers. It was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom and kitchen were shared with two other rooms. The bathroom was nice, stocked with toiletries. The small kitchen allowed you to cook your own food. I would gladly stay again if I needed a night in Herning. The biggest downside was the floors and stairs creaking a lot. I stayed on the first floor and was very aware of the noise from the downstairs neighbors when I moved around. There was no breakfast option.
