The hut had a lovely, cosy vibe, perfect for a solo night; it was tidy and well furnished. The host kept in touch, checking arrival times and giving directions. Driving up the driveway felt like approaching their property, but the hut was tucked to the right behind a double wooden gate. Around 8:30 pm there was a bit of noise from people and tractors, which is expected on a farm.

If you’re after a unique spot in a stunning, peaceful setting away from the city, this is the place. The owners were lovely and the farm‑fresh food was delicious. Nothing else to add.

The shepherd’s hut was very peaceful and well positioned for lovely walks. It was well equipped with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. The garden was private, offered a great view, and was perfect for watching the sunset with a local cider from Hillers farm shop.
