“Déception”

The beach was superb, but the service was awful: no light upon arrival, no shower curtains, poorly trained staff, lack of professionalism for a place like this, terrible food, no iron in the suite, no hot water, the bathroom was in bad condition with cracked tiles, a broken tub seal, dilapidated, and we had to go to our neighbors at Best Western for meals. It doesn’t deserve four stars.

We stayed for four nights with our kids, who loved playing at the beach; the rooms had nice views, staff were friendly and courteous, and the location was perfect for a family. Breakfast had a limited menu with almost the same items each morning, the swings were rusty and need replacement, and the à la carte selection was sparse.

“Simple hassle-free stay at a reasonable price.”

Breakfast was basic but acceptable; the chef made an excellent scrambled egg. The selection could use more variety. The hotel staff were mostly helpful and friendly. The pool should stay open until maybe 8 pm, the music volume should be lowered after dark, one room had a smoking family that I failed to report to management, and perhaps the staff could report such incidents during cleaning.
