The beds are comfortable, but I only got one set of towels for a four‑day stay in spring, and they never dried. The TV wasn’t set up and wouldn’t play.
Everything was perfect—nothing to complain about.
“pretty much the only option when we arrived - probably wouldnt have stayed if we had viewed the room”
We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfasts on the first night, but it was a bit disappointing to learn that the same price applied to later nights without breakfast included.
All the staff were lovely, and we liked the breakfast packs that came with the rooms. It was easy to walk to the pub for a meal, which was delicious. The only downside was hearing the next door guest snore loudly in the middle of the night—hilarious, but you might want ear plugs.
The location is great and the stay was solid, but the check‑in was average and a bit rude.
