Riad Hiba, a traditionally styled riad in Meknès, offers 6 air-conditioned guestrooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Overlooking the old town from its terrace, the riad features a restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a lounge serving Moroccan tea. Located near Great Square Lahdim, it provides easy access to the nearby market and Meknes's historic monuments, 60 kilometres from Fes.

The location is fantastic, right in the medina but close to the city center. The décor is beautiful, breakfast is good, the AC is cool, and the staff are great. Everything was fine.

The rooms are gorgeous and very well kept, the breakfast on the lovely terrace is excellent, and I give the host a perfect 10—he’s a very friendly former youth national footballer.

The riad sits in an incomparable historic palace. The staff are kind and very welcoming. On arrival we were offered mint tea on a stunning panoramic terrace. The location is great, and there’s a paid parking spot 5 minutes on foot from the riad. The accommodation is very spartan and the bathrooms are small; unfortunately a bad smell came from the drain. Nothing dramatic if you adapt.

The palace is stunningly old and feels like staying in a museum. From floor to ceiling there are decorations throughout the house and in our room, making it a real experience. The room is cozy, full of character and beautiful colors, and everything works perfectly. The rooftop terraces offer a nice view. Breakfast is simple but good, with fresh‑pressed juice. The host couple are very pleasant and do everything to make us comfortable. The location is the best in town, close to everything, quiet, and easy to find. The only downside is the steep, narrow stairs, but that’s part of the old palace vibe.
