“Will definitely return”
The location was spectacular right in the centre of Beaune, a couple minutes walk from the best wine bar in town, Maison du Colombier. More fans would have been great as rooms get a little warm at night.

The location is great and the living space is adequate, but there was no air conditioning during the heat wave, the check‑in was at 5 pm, and the top bedroom is reached by two flights of stairs. Parking is also problematic because the next‑door neighbours use the space.

The place has a good location and typical charm, but some essential items were missing and I had to buy garbage bags myself.

This house was perfect for our 3‑generation 6‑person holiday in Beaune: a large open‑plan kitchen/dining/living area, two very spacious bedrooms (plus a smaller one for the teens) and two bathrooms gave everyone plenty of room. A big entry hall kept wet coats, umbrellas and boots out of the living area, which was handy when it rained all week. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and a Lidl supermarket is very close. The house was clearly well maintained and very clean, and there was a parking spot directly in front of the building. The hosts answered our questions promptly and even turned on the heating before we arrived. I would highly recommend this rental! Those who are not used to very old houses should note that the staircase to the top floor is somewhat steep and sloping, though handrails are appropriately placed.
