The location is remote and therefore very quiet; the deluxe pool room is a bit noisy. From the restaurant you could hear voices until about 1 am, some of which were drowned out by the air‑conditioning. The Sri Lankan Breakfast is recommended, just order it the night before!

A super chill, small‑scale resort with cute huts that offer everything, including a nice outdoor shower, a lovely pool, and a restaurant with friendly staff. The best part was the owner who cared a lot about us. I wouldn’t take a cabana without AC in this heat because a fan just won’t cut it. Also, getting there was a bit tricky on gravel roads, and the first restaurant was a 7‑minute drive away.

The location is a bit outside but super quiet, the staff are great, the pool is refreshing, and it’s a relaxed start to the holiday.

It’s a pretty new hotel, well kept, and the staff keep it clean all the time. The pool is very pleasant even in the heat. The price is high compared to what’s normally charged in Sri Lanka, so you’d expect a certain level of quality. There’s no fridge, no hair dryer, no kettle in the room. The bar‑restaurant staff don’t speak English and made several mistakes with our orders. The restaurant’s prices are outrageous for food that isn’t even exceptional. The breakfast, not included, costs $12 per person per day and feels inappropriate for the price of the stay; the portions are small compared to other hotels we stayed at during the trip. I’m not sure I’d recommend this hotel. Sweeping the entrance steps at 7:30 am each morning by tapping the baseboards was also not very relaxing.
