The weather was a mix of rain and sunshine, but when the clear skies appeared, the location was stunning and moved me. The room was clean and the staff communication was very good; I’d like to stay again. The only disappointment was that dinner didn’t arrive because I misunderstood the service; the restaurant was closed for a group event, and I only found out about the closure after arriving at the hotel, which would have been better to know beforehand.

The hot springs and the food were satisfying, but the male staff member who handled checkout—perhaps the manager—was terrible, with an overbearing attitude and rude language that made the experience extremely unpleasant and should be replaced immediately.

The staff were helpful. Both the breakfast and the kaiseki dinner were good. The room offered a beautiful sunrise view. Complimentary coffee was only available during morning breakfast; it should be free-flow all day. There was no outdoor hot spring.
