“Hôtel pratique proche aéroport ORLY”
I keep staying at this hotel every night before heading to the airport. The staff are very friendly and helpful, but the elevator is broken.

We upgraded the room and it turned out fine, but I still wish I'd not booked. The Ibis Budget Orly Chevilly Tram 7 was a letdown. We specifically asked for an elevator because my dad has a leg injury, and an email in May warned us the elevator was out of order. We got there in September – months later – and it was still broken, so we had to climb stairs. Fixing essential accessibility in a multi‑story hotel after months is unacceptable. Front desk was unprofessional; check‑in was a hassle. Even though I had my ID ready, the receptionist stopped us and gave priority to other guests and even a DHL courier. The room required us to set up our own bunk bed. Management says that’s in the fine print for “Ibis Budget,” but paying for a hotel – even a budget one – should include a made bed; that’s just not right. We ended up paying an extra 250 € for an upgrade just to get basic comfort and accessibility after dealing with the stairs and the forced self‑service beds. Calling yourself a hotel and expecting guests to do housekeeping while key amenities stay broken for months is not acceptable. On the bright side, the staff were generally friendly and welcoming. Once we moved to the proper room, cleanliness and comfort were fine. It’s just disappointing that we had to go through an ordeal to get something basic. BE CAREFUL WITH THE SMALL PRINT!

I was blown away by how perfect everything was – the staff were super helpful and welcoming, the room was spotless and tidy, and the spot right next to the tram stop that heads to the airport was spot on.

I liked the service; even though I didn’t speak French, the staff were very understandable, courteous, and polite. The hotel lent me a hair dryer, so I only have compliments. The location is perfect and the hotel is complete. The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working, but that was manageable.
