The location and the staff’s attitude were excellent, but the hotel had no Wi‑Fi and the village offered almost no coverage, so I spent a lot of time offline.

It’s close to the town and the scenery is nice, but the Posada San José is terrible: the pool area is covered in dog poop from days ago, nobody cleans it, and the staff are grumpy and complain about everything while only cleaning a few spots. The room still had a bottle of water from the previous guest, and the breakfast was not ready at the scheduled time, the seating area was unprepared, and the staff answered questions poorly. The breakfast was sparse for the price. Otherwise the view and proximity are good. It’s expensive and offers many unused possibilities. A real disappointment, especially after visiting more than 30 years ago and never having seen it this bad.

I always enjoy the surroundings, so I’ll return to the town but not to this inn. I booked a suite for great views and comfort, but the views were awful—just a roof when I opened the window and no airflow. When I pulled up the blinds, my hand got caught on the strap. And the breakfast was terrible: the waiter always gave me a bad look whenever I asked for something, everything was dirty, the tablecloths stayed dirty all weekend with chocolate stains from the previous day. I won’t come back; the price doesn’t match the quality.
