“It provided a bed for the night but I would not stay there again.”
The pub looked a bit worn out, but I didn't mind its old‑world charm; the rooms felt tired and the price was steep, especially since breakfast wasn't included.

Breakfast was solid and the hotel sat close to the wedding venue we attended, though parking was only available at the back.

The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, I had to boil the kettle on the floor because there was only one plug, the TV wouldn't turn on and they blamed Ariel, the stair to the rooms was uneven and unsafe, breakfast was cooked in a deep‑fat fryer and when I asked, they said everything was grilled, and I was overcharged at the bar by almost £10. (See earlier comments for more details.)

The room was pleasant, the bed comfortable, and the view from the room was beautiful, but the taps made a lot of noise when used.

The staff were super efficient and friendly, the room was clean, and the location was excellent for a local wedding venue; however, the bed was small and uncomfortable, the bathroom needed renovation, and the toilet was a Saniflow that was noisy.
