“Great and reliable choice to explore the city and surroundings”
The staff were professional and available, and check‑in was smooth with clear instructions, plus the option for in‑person check‑in. The place is nicely located by the sea, giving a great view from the comfortable terrace, and it’s an easy walk to the Old Town. A small supermarket next door is convenient for an apartment stay. The biggest problem was the lights flickering on the ceiling over the bed—probably an alarm system—and the light from the common area was visible in the room, disrupting sleep on some nights. The website didn’t make it clear that the balcony/terrace was shared, but that didn’t bother us since we didn’t meet any neighbours.
“Great value, great location, very well equipped (including well provisioned kitchen, air con, and laundry)”
The position was fantastic—spacious, well‑equipped, close to the old town (remarkably quiet) and very near the marina, which is key if you’re sailing. The only downside was the lack of natural light; one window faced an enclosed car park instead of the courtyard view I expected.
Amazing room with a view! Great service, suoer clean, amazing location
The cleanliness was impeccable, the view beautiful, and the location great. A small coffee maker in each room would be a nice addition.
“Prime location, beautiful property”
The stay was excellent; Casa Costabella sits in a prime spot, about a ten‑minute walk from the ferry port/bus station and only five minutes from town centre. A supermarket next door is convenient, and the rooms are very clean and high‑standard. The cleaner visited daily and was thorough. The communal kitchen offered useful emergency supplies like a coffee pod machine, milk, peanut butter, etc. The property was lovely and I’d recommend it. The communal hallway outside the property could have been cleaner.
