The view of the whole valley is great. The rooms and facilities are good, but the staff’s behaviour after checkout was rude and uncooperative, which is disappointing at the end. We hope the staff will receive better training for a better guest experience.

The view from the room was excellent. The food was good, and the staff were well‑behaved. The bathroom was lacking: the toilet seat and wash basin were not up to standard.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time. The first time, before the renovation, I liked the hotel, its location, and the safety. Now the renovation is beautiful. I really like the staff – friendly and responsive. Whenever something was needed, they solved it immediately and helped out. The view from the window is lovely. I love Shimla and will definitely come back a few more times. I also want to stay at the Northern View Howard hotel again.

Nice view, good staff. The downside was nighttime noise coming from inside. There was no shower, only a basin – not a big issue, but it should have been mentioned beforehand.
