“A piece of paradise in Ella”
We can’t recommend this place enough; we didn’t want to leave. It feels like staying at a wealthy friend’s bungalow that just happens to have wonderful staff. It’s hard to leave. Once you have a gin and tonic or tea in hand you could spend hours just sitting in the garden and taking in the view and beauty of this property. There’s a great library and board games. It’s a real flop and drop destination. The food is outstanding – you must do the cooking class with the chef and a tour of the vegetable garden. A must‑stay in Ella, we can’t wait to return.

The entire property was beautiful – the living area, the infinity pool with a stunning view, the room we stayed in – all of it was exceptional. The entire staff was very hospitable, especially Welles who really took care of us, anticipated our needs, and was truly such a joy to be around. We also did a cooking class with Chef Roshan and had so much fun – not only did we learn how to make delicious curries but also had an enjoyable experience. In addition, we had a tasting menu curated by Chef Isuru, which was hands down the best meal we had during our time in Sri Lanka. Overall, Kasun and the entire team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable.

I had an amazing stay here - the location is simply stunning. We rolled in late afternoon and caught the sunset over the valley, which was totally breathtaking. The old tea planter villa has been restored really nicely, with a focus on comfort and sociability. We went for the all-inclusive option, which was a great call, and the food and drinks were all top quality.
