“Hotel rural precioso”

The place is gorgeous, a renovated old mill right in the heart of Rioja, in a really cool area, run by a Dutch couple who are super nice. The house has a spectacular garden, perfect for relaxing while listening to cows and donkeys, and for letting our dog roam. We had a snack for dinner, a cheese and cold cuts board, and salad. Breakfast is great, good coffee, yogurt, homemade cake. The only downside was that the road was under construction, but that’s not their fault.

The surroundings, the easy parking, the quietness, the spotless cleanliness, and the exquisite dinner all stood out. But the real highlight was the owners, Anne and Paul, two charming people who make you feel at home. I hope they stay in Spain for many years. Hospitality in this country should learn from their customer service, which is far above the average here. Everything was perfect.

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location is ideal. The garden deserves special mention. The owners were very friendly and attentive, and the dinner was exquisite. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended.
