The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. I would suggest better cleaning (too many cobwebs), more attention to the furnishings, a door in the room that didn’t close properly, a squeaky sink faucet, and a missing latch on the bathroom door.

We stayed at the Abbadia B&B for one night. Marlene welcomed us with enthusiasm, showing her friendliness and readiness to help with any requests or needs. We enjoyed the cool evening on a comfortable terrace with a panoramic view of the fortress. In the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find a table set for a fairy‑tale breakfast, both sweet and savory. We highly recommend staying there!

If you want to experience Italy in a way that’s truly impressive, deep, and beautiful, you must visit Monesiglio. It feels like a forgotten gem, free from tourist crowds, yet full of quiet, nature, and real atmosphere. The hotel itself is simply incredible. It’s clear that about 300 years ago it was a monastery, and that spirit is preserved to this day. The owners have created something special – the view from the windows is breathtaking, and the room interiors seem to transport you back in time. Everything is planned so that you don’t just stay in a room, you live the experience. It’s a place you’ll want to return to.

“If you have no alternative consider this”

The terrace attached to the room was nice, but the shared entrance to the room wasn’t clean and the food had a strong smell.
