“Good for overnight.”
The country view was good. The room was comfortable when the heating was set for winter during winter. The breakfast selection was limited compared to other hotels that offer hot meals and evening dining. There was no open restaurant for breakfast or dinner.
The accommodation was comfortable and offered good value.

The location was great, but there was no internet, no cable TV, and the heating wasn’t working correctly. The noise level was ridiculously loud, and we didn’t get any sleep on the first night.

The area was quiet and the views were spectacular. Located far enough from the main road, so no intrusive road noise. The bed was amazingly comfortable. There were hardly any other guests; I didn't run into anyone else. No staff were at the reception, but while walking around the property I met and talked to some people who seemed to be the owners, and they were friendly and informative. Breakfast supplies were available 24/7. The air conditioning was quite noisy. The bathroom sink tap leaked and dripped loudly, but we could close the door so it wasn't intrusive. Other guests came and went at odd hours (miners, apparently) and their vehicles were big and loud and took up a lot of parking space, which made it a little challenging to park, and enter/exit our vehicle. The free breakfast was rudimentary.
The apartment was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony view, 24‑hour access to the breakfast room, and a great location. It’s not far to go to Lucknow for a great pub meal, shopping at Lucknow Bootbarn, and visiting Millthorpe. The restaurant and bar were closed, and neither was the wine‑tasting place on the property.
