Sixth Sense Hostel

My time at Sixth Sense Hostel was amazing—one of the best hostels I've stayed in across Asia. The place is well maintained, spotless, and the kitchen is superbly equipped with free bottled water. It's clean, cozy, quiet, and tastefully decorated, showing the care put into it. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, making me feel right at home. Nothing to complain about.

I picked this hostel because I needed a place to rest; it’s a 5–6 minute motorbike ride from the beach and surrounded by forests. The room was spotless, and I stayed almost five nights, essentially having the whole place to myself. The huge room felt reserved just for me. Reception was friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. The only downsides were the ants in the bathroom—so many that I had to keep cleaning the toilet before using it—and the kitchen was pretty dirty. Wifi was slow.

The staff were very friendly and showed us everything. The kitchen was available, and the rooms were nice. We found many insects in the beds and left early. The staff got upset with their boss, which made us sad. We called the boss to sort it out, but it didn’t help. Overall, it’s a nice place but needs improvement.

Kelum, the manager, was very kind and helpful throughout my stay; he’s one of the best staff I’ve met in a hostel.

“雖然屋況很新，但缺乏自來水，可惜了。”

The staff were very enthusiastic, and upon arrival we were given a welcome juice. The guesthouse feels like a little cabin, the bed frame is wooden, and there’s a wooden scent. The water source is groundwater and appears yellow, so I got stomach flu the next day. The kitchen utensils weren’t clean, the countertop was sticky. In the bathroom, there were some insects.
