“Para quem só precise dormir”
The room was spacious, comfortable, and close to shops. However, there was a bad smell, the walls had a lot of mold, the switches were dirty, and the bathroom was filthy.

The front desk didn’t even know my room number, so I had to wait while they sorted it out. When I finally got to the room it was filthy, the snack was spoiled, and a terrible odor filled the space – I had to toss it out and ventilate the whole room. On top of that, there was no breakfast included and I had to pay extra, with no receipt to show my company. Overall, a frustrating stay.

Good afternoon… My stay was the worst. The host said the apartment was already booked and he’d forgotten to block the date. He offered me a different room at the same price in Quality Barra (Salvador Allende, 500). It was room 909, but when I got there it was already occupied, so he gave me room 1012. That was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed in. Bathroom door was blackened, there was a leak, AC control was broken, wallpaper ripped, balcony filthy, etc.

The location is great, but the room needs a makeover. Mold is everywhere, the microwave is rusted, the mini fridge is full of ice, and the sheets look dirty.

I booked thinking it was a hotel, but it turned out to be a loft sublet. The listing called it Samba Hotel, but the real name is Grand Midas. The room had mold in the bathroom, AC leaked water onto my head, and the reception was awful. No Wi‑Fi, pool access required a medical certificate that wasn’t mentioned, beds were in bad shape, mattress split, pillows were like bricks with broken foam, and overall the room was far below acceptable standards.
