The owner was amazing and welcoming; the accommodation is unusual. The caravan sits in the garden with access to the house’s conveniences. We slept comfortably in the tiny caravan with the doors open (it was hot outside). a nice night lulled by the river. My official address in the Mons region.

The location and the locals were great, offering lifts and food at times. I had a fantastic time here, even though it was in the middle of a heat wave. Not great in hot weather (above 30°C) although there is at least a fan one can use to cool down.

Marie‑Christine was very warm and welcoming! Since I didn’t have a car, she kindly offered to pick me up at the station. Thanks to her, I was able to experience the famous Ducasse de Mons, the Doudou, with locals. We shared a very beautiful moment, and I will keep excellent memories. The caravan is in her garden, and we have access to the bathroom in the house right next door. Everything is very clean and shower towels are provided. The bed is very comfortable and the caravan is right by a river, giving it a pretty and relaxing setting. There is also a café a few steps from the house where you can enjoy a beer on the terrace while admiring the river.

Everything was perfect. We felt very comfortable. Christine is very friendly and helpful. You even get a chilled Belgian beer as a welcome. We’ll come back.
