Friendly staff and great food, but the bathroom wasn’t spotless—clean but not immaculate.

Breakfast surprised us pleasantly and the front desk asked what we wanted upon check‑in; the bar staff were fantastic, chatting and laughing, even sharing a book club meeting and giving us free books after we joined in. Everything else was perfect for me.

The hotel is dog‑friendly, with helpful, friendly staff, good parking, and an exercise field for dogs off the car park. Nothing to add.
