The hotel sits beautifully by the canal. The room was tastefully furnished and lovingly decorated. Lili was incredibly friendly and offered great city tips. We really enjoyed our stay.

The accommodation was super clean and very comfortable. Lili was a very nice person and super helpful with arranging transport, tours, scooters, etc. The rooms were big, with nice beds and a great shower. The pool was clean and you felt at home. Thank you so much. I can also highly recommend traveling in the low season—there’s not much rain, the temples are almost empty all day, and everything is super green!

The hotel is superb! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is beautiful, and it’s a pleasure to swim there after visiting the Angkor temples. The temples are 5 km away, a 30‑minute bike ride from the hotel, which also offers bike rentals. Aurélie takes great care of her guests and even gave us a free bike rental after two flat tires. Overall, the location is great and the manager is friendly. We felt at home throughout our stay at La Fontaine de Tara. The hotel might feel a bit far from the city center on foot (25 minutes), but it’s easy to get there by bike. The hotel restaurant wasn’t open during our stay, which would have been a plus, but tenants had signed on for that business, so it should be possible to eat there now.

The location is ideal for those who don’t want to stay too close to the city center near Pub Street, where the nighttime music can be a bit loud. It’s in a quiet, very safe neighborhood. I rented a bike for $3/day to explore the area, wander down small streets, ride along the river, and find a café by the water to sip coffee and read. The room was clean, and the owner, Lyly, was very friendly—overall, I really enjoyed the stay.
