I felt right at home in this place, it really gave off a homely vibe.

The camera is very pretty and spacious inside a nice house just a short walk from the sea! The nearby beach is beautiful, sheltered, and not crowded; otherwise, a few minutes by tuk‑tuk takes you to the more famous beach with the various bars in the Mirissa town center. The hosts are truly sweet, friendly and helpful, always with a smile! Staying in a tourist spot but in a place marked by the authentic hospitality of a Sri Lankan family was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, with fresh products! Great value for money! Highly recommended!

Everything was great, the best part were the hosts. They helped with everything you needed. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning was amazing and the bed even had a mosquito net. We stayed for a week and breakfast was abundant and varied every day, but always with their coffee, eggs and a fruit plate. The area is super convenient, just a step from the beach where you can snorkel and swim with turtles. Highly recommended!

A place to disconnect. The first two nights we were in the smallest room, we had no space for anything but it was clean; we asked for a change but they were full. As soon as they moved out we switched to the larger one for a little more space. The family is charming, super kind and attentive to everything. They rented us a motorcycle for three days, perfect for discovering other beach areas. Our room was a 2‑minute walk away and very quiet, a bit shabby but you could see turtles snorkeling (they feed them so that’s why they’re there) – don’t pay for any tour to see them, just with a mask and snorkel you can see them every day for free. The site is very quiet with incredible breakfasts; from one of the terraces on the first floor you can see the sea. There are small restaurants nearby where you can eat excellent local food. On the bike you can reach the little coves of Ahangama or Weligama, drive carefully especially. A small beach to enjoy a sun lounger and calm waters is Wild Beach with no waves, turquoise water and fresh juices, pure tranquility. I recommend the restaurant Le'Fish in Weligama (or any of the ones next door) where you can eat fresh, delicious fish at a good price. You can also dive with one of the dive centers; we went with Paradise Diving, which was a friend of Tenishan our host, and for a modest price they brought us to our next accommodation near Galle. It was a real success, I would come back without hesitation. Thank you so much for taking care of us, we felt at home. I didn’t like leaving.
