The staff were excellent, the bed and linens were cozy, the room was spacious with plenty of tea and coffee and air‑conditioning, the spot was perfect near all sites and only a 10‑minute walk to the train and bus stations, and the historic building even had a lift.

I liked the hotel mainly for its décor and its central location in the city; the old building had a lot of character and we enjoyed it.

The breakfast was great, but it would have been nice if a window could be opened for ventilation; I’m not a fan of the air‑conditioning.

The location in the centre of Leeuwarden was ideal, the room was very nice and comfortable, the breakfast a la carte was tasty and you could choose everything à la carte, the staff were welcoming and brought you to the room, but you shouldn’t rush at breakfast; fresh preparations (understandable) take time.

The first impression from the street was very good and the reception was friendly and accommodating, but it was a pity we hadn’t booked an extra night 😁.
