The resort looked pretty nice, and the staff arranged alternative lodging and transport after they couldn’t keep my reservation. I wasn’t told until I got to the front desk that my confirmed booking was void and that I’d have to stay elsewhere. I’d just landed in Detroit from Germany to attend a conference at Saint John’s, so being moved to the Sheraton in Novi added extra travel, wasted time, and needless hassle to my schedule. Even though the replacement hotel and transport were paid for, they should have told me before I arrived, not when I got to the desk.

The property is gorgeous! We celebrated our 25th anniversary there. Multiple restaurants and bars, beautiful gardens, and the staff were all exceptional! I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The food was good but not always accurate; they forgot items more than once. The room‑service order accuracy was lacking.
