The location of the agriturismo is great. With a car you can quickly reach places like Pienza or Montepulciano. The pool was clean and there were enough loungers. On the property there is also a good restaurant with very friendly staff and a great view. We booked the Deluxe room and were disappointed. The photos don’t match reality. When we asked, we were told the photos shown for the Deluxe room are from different apartments. Neither the bathroom nor the bedroom looks like that. The Deluxe room has the same furnishings as the others, just a bit larger. We were also unhappy with the cleanliness: ants in the kitchen and bathroom, a dead moth and large crumbs on the floor, hair in the bidet, spider webs on the walls. The cleaning staff came back the next day and only dealt with the ants (they came back). We were kindly offered another apartment, but at first glance it didn’t look better in terms of furnishings or cleanliness. Overall the apartment needs renovation: the sofa is sagging, the armchair upholstery is torn, and the bathroom is old. I can’t understand the many top reviews. I know a property in a good location isn’t cheap, but I definitely overpaid. My recommendation: for 160€ a night you’ll find a better agriturismo!
