“Disappointing”
Sea‑front breakfast and the breakfast staff were great, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was not clean on arrival, the toilet didn’t flush properly, and the lift wasn’t working.

The waterfront location was excellent, and the included breakfast was also great. Soiled linens from the cleaning crew were scattered through the halls as we went up the stairs. Our first room was not prepared when we got the keys, so we left in disgust. The replacement room was adequate but worn. No view, but the bed was comfortable. Clearly the premium rooms are the ones with the views; you don’t get what you pay for. The lounge and bar area was occupied by staff ironing sheets, so it wasn’t inviting.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices, and there was nothing to complain about.

The spot was great for the price, and the bottle of water in the room was a nice touch. It’s pet friendly, but we stayed in a loft room with no lift, and the water pressure was very low.
