The rooftop was open at certain times, letting me enjoy the starry sky. I was traveling alone, yet during dinner the staff set up a table against the wall, making me feel comfortable without worrying about other guests. Breakfast started at 7 am, but when I arrived at the venue at 7 am the staff were absent; a few guests were confused at the entrance, and some people were already seated inside, which was shocking. Checkout was at 10 am, yet cleaning staff opened my room with a key around 9 am, and there was no apology or explanation. The front‑desk woman didn’t smile at check‑in; her formal manner was intimidating and made me feel uneasy. The room was told to stay closed to prevent bugs, yet insects kept flying into the bright interior and hitting the windows, and I was unsure whether the bathroom and shower had proper ventilation.

The location was great and the staff were friendly, and the food tasted good, but the Wi‑Fi didn’t reach the room, the TV couldn’t play YouTube or other streaming services, and everything felt pretty dated.

“景色を（星空・山々）見に行くなら最高。”

The price was reasonable and the view was excellent. The food felt a bit lacking.

“Great for a hiking trip to Mt Omuro but old and dirty in many places.”

The view of Mt. Omuro was spectacular, and the staff were friendly and helpful; walking to the mountain from the hotel made for a great day trip. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the hotel overall felt dirty and moldy in many spots, especially the onsen and breakfast room. The onsen desperately needs a thorough renovation, and the dirt and decay make it hard to relax there.

“ハイキングする人に必要十分な良さ”

When I arrived the futon was already laid out, dinner wasn’t a buffet, the breakfast buffet was small but sufficient, and the rooftop viewing area was nice, although the shower temperature was hard to set and the shoe‑changing nook inside the door was oddly shaped and inconvenient.
