The breakfast and dinner were tasty, and the buffet table had everything you could want; the house was spotless, the beds comfy, and the innkeepers helped us print important documents. The downside was that Bedroom 5 had no bathroom and we had to share the facilities with Bedroom 3.

Staying at Bloom was fantastic, with countless personal touches and unexpected perks—from a warm towel and salad on arrival, to chocolates on the pillows, to a full range of bath supplies that were hard to list. Breakfast was plentiful, and the spot was close to Seton Hall University. The only issue was the many scented candles around the place, which I’m sensitive to; if you’re like me, let the host know beforehand.

The room was spacious and full of interesting knickknacks, and it was nice to have a fire going in the downstairs living room. The bathroom was large and well stocked. Mia and Jorg were welcoming and accommodating. The only drawback was that breakfast finished at 9 AM, which felt a bit early for us on the weekend.

You won’t go hungry here—Mia cooks a feast that feeds a small army, and breakfast is so filling you can skip lunch. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try her lunch or dinner. Her warm pies and German cream were delicious, and you’ll have everything you need during your stay. The only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

The place was very clean and elegantly furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
