“Maravillosa”
The place was pretty, cozy, and detail‑oriented; we had a fantastic weekend. I recommend it. Everything was perfect. I liked everything.
The staff were amazing, always ready to help and even suggested local activities and restaurants. The only downside was that taxis were a bit pricey, even though the place is just 15 minutes from Córdoba city centre.
“Perfect Getaway”
The accommodation was perfect for what we needed - a relaxing getaway with plenty of privacy. I was really happy with the place and I'd definitely come back. The private pool and garden were amazing, and it was great to unwind in such a peaceful setting.
“Zona de jardín bastante chula, interior aceptable. Ojo con la fianza sorpresa de última hora”
The house interior feels quite modest but adequate, with clean and comfortable beds. One of the double rooms sits in the attic and is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase, which makes it a bit inconvenient to move luggage up and down. In that room there’s a ticking clock‑like noise that can be annoying for light sleepers. The walk‑in wardrobes in the ground‑floor double room smell slightly damp; we stayed in May, so winter might be worse, but it was tolerable. We stored our clothes and didn’t notice any lingering odor. The pillows feel more like cushions than pillows, but we managed. The kitchen is tiny and the drawers don’t open fully because they hit the dishwasher (the dishwasher isn’t mentioned in the description). I’m not sure about the utensils since we only dined there once and did a BBQ using disposable items; we did use a tray that was handy. The real highlight is the garden: spacious, with a pool and two BBQs—one charcoal, one gas (we didn’t test the gas one). There’s a porch for cold or rainy weather and another table with a canopy. The Balinese beds are very nice. Cars can be parked inside; there’s room for two, maybe three. In short, the house is worth it if you plan to spend most of your time outdoors. A major issue was the 200€ deposit demanded on the day of arrival without prior notice. The listing said the establishment could charge up to 300€ for damage, but that was the only mention. That morning we received a WhatsApp from a staff member insisting on a 200€ Bizum deposit for potential damage. We complained to the booking platform, which agreed the deposit wasn’t disclosed, but the host refused to let us stay without it. They kindly offered a free cancellation, but the informal request made us uneasy, especially since it was a family trip and we had no time to find another place. This mistrust affected our stay, so we gave the property a 5. We did get the deposit back after two days in perfect condition, but the initial experience left a bad impression.
The location is peaceful, the outdoor ambience is lovely, and the interior is clean and well kept in bright white. However, the heavy use of pleasant air fresheners at first masked a pervasive damp smell that required constant ventilation in the main bedroom and kitchen. The ground‑floor double bed, made of a similar wicker material, didn’t help with the dampness, so we moved to the upper floor via a spiral staircase to another double bed that also lacked curtains and had a wall‑mounted machine that couldn’t be turned off; its ticking was audible at night and disrupted sleep. The price is high, though we got a 50% discount in March. We’re from Córdoba and wanted a quiet week nearby, but the rooms made us reluctant to return. The BBQ area was filthy and unusable.
