“It was a cute get-away”

The apartment was clean, cozy, stylishly decorated and well maintained, yet we had trouble figuring out how to get in and which suite was ours, the floors were uneven, the kitchen turned out to be shared instead of private, the main room’s light switch was awkwardly positioned in the shared area, the bed was creaky and cheap, sound insulation was poor, and there was no climate control.
