“Maravilhoso!”
The rooms were great, with excellent beds and showers, and the breakfast was sensationally complete; we booked the half‑board rate and felt it was well worth it, and the Bombay Indian restaurant was fantastic!

Check‑in went smoothly and the staff at the service desk were very helpful; the hotel is popular with Indian guests, so the breakfast buffet caters to that crowd, offering a huge variety that would probably require a week to try everything. The à la carte breakfast, however, was poorly presented. We had booked the Club Lounge but could barely use it due to time constraints. If you enjoy a small‑scale breakfast with a view of the Burj Khjalifa, this place is spot on, though the selection of offered dishes is naturally limited, which doesn’t bother me. The concierge was very helpful. A free shuttle bus to Dubai Mall is available at certain times, and a taxi takes about 10 minutes depending on the time of day, costing around €5. Note that various “taxis” waiting outside the building are actually ride‑hailing services that cost at least twice as much. The service felt like a snail race; if you expect speed, you’re at the wrong place. The room clearly has seen better days and gives a worn‑out impression. The furniture around the pool area is stained, cigarette ash is found on the chairs, and the lower area where the bar is located was locked at lunch time with a sign saying “not cleaned yet” (lunch time!!!). The pool area’s air‑conditioning unit is loud, ruining the atmosphere, and the stretched nets above the water didn’t help. Half of the menu there is unavailable, and even ordering an iced tea required a wait of about 20 minutes. Various lobby staff members do not earn a medal for friendliness.

The breakfast was very good and the bedrooms amazing! During the day we could have had more food options.
