“Very quaint but refreshing”
Everything was spotless and cozy, and the breakfast was warm, fresh, and deliciously hot, yet parking was hit or miss with dog poop littering the lot.

The staff handled any issues promptly, but the deluxe room’s small double bed was a let‑down, the sink was clogged, the shower was terrible, the bed was tiny, and the noise from the road was relentless—Fawlty Towers vibes without Basil.

The room was comfy with great amenities, and it was unusual for a hotel to offer plenty of milk for tea or coffee in the room, though the water pressure on the top floor was a bit weak but still usable.

The lady making breakfast was fantastic, handling everything smoothly, but after arriving around 3 pm I found stains on the sheets and duvet that looked like ink; I called the management number to swap the bedding, they promised housekeeping would come, but by 6 pm they still hadn’t arrived. I left to eat, returned around 8 pm, and still no change; another call revealed they couldn’t reach housekeeping, so the bedding would have to wait until the next day.

Communication for booking and arrival. Quiet but accessible location. Parking and a good pub and chippy nearby
