“Agréable”
The place looks nice and the rooftop is charming. The location is ideal, close to the hypercentre when riding a scooter, yet tucked away on a quiet street. Breakfast is excellent and very complete; we had it on the rooftop, which lets you meet other travelers. Scooters can be rented right there. The staff—only male—are very friendly and make sure you have the best possible stay. The room I booked was comfortable, with a small terrace, but the bathroom was tiny and extremely damp, with no ventilation. When renting a scooter, the helmets don’t always fit properly; the one I got was 1000 times too big and blew off on the highway. I had to leave it off because the wind made it dangerous, which is a problem. I took a surf lesson with them and, as a beginner, was surprised to surf at Tanjung Aan in shallow water with a rocky bottom full of sharp stones. I didn’t feel very safe or well guided during the lesson.
The establishment and staff were truly extraordinary. We stayed for a week and were taken care of every day. Breakfast is amazing and there’s a lot of choice. We’re close to Warung for meals. Thank you, it was great.

It’s okay for what you pay but not amazing, and you don’t get privacy. I also did surf with them and it’s clear you get what you pay for. Not all teachers speak English, so it falls short. Now, with June it’s great. Still, I’m not sure I’d come back. They helped with everything in general. Don’t expect hot water. That said, it’s easy to meet people because it’s small.
The people are lovely, the room is very clean, and the location is good. The towels didn’t smell super fresh.

The surf instructors and staff are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and everyone I met was super nice and chill—social but not a party hostel. The surf lessons are great and the balcony has nice spots to hang out.
