“Hope to be back soon”
The hotel’s location is unbeatable, and you can feel the history of the building in its neighbourhood and surroundings, plus the family atmosphere is an extra asset.

Located in the heart of old Fort Kochi, the Old Courtyard Hotel is a tranquil, 200-year-old sanctuary with ten antique-appointed rooms, formerly the town house of wealthy trader Lily Koder. Lovingly restored in 1999, this historic gem offers a unique glimpse into colonial India's past, providing a serene and culturally rich experience for discerning travelers.

Only the location was okay. The property was horrible and what they show in photos is very different from what you actually experience—typical people.

The property’s location is really good, but the breakfast was really disappointing. We specifically booked the stay with breakfast included, expecting a decent breakfast given the overall value for money. Unfortunately, the experience was far below our expectations. They served masala dosa that appeared to have been brought in from outside, while claiming it was prepared by them. It was clear it was not freshly made. Considering the extra amount we paid for the breakfast‑included package, there are plenty of better breakfast options outside at a much lower cost. Overall, the breakfast was not worth the extra money we paid, and this was a disappointing part of an otherwise expected stay.

The central location and colonial vibe were great, but the airport taxi was overpriced.

The localization is nice . Old building very handsome. Staff or boss are not nice . Entrance door always close by key . You can’t enter or leave easily. Breakfast shame : received message via booking saying no buffet okay fot that . They said continental or Indian breakfast. Then the morinibg they said only Indian ând it was so super spicy we can’t eat. And they come knock tbe door at 8:30 for wake up us ând said breakfast ready ând serve 8:30. How come ? Old building need renovation . We came back late 10pm ând all door and wooden door was close . We need knock door ând ring barely 5min
