The little house sat in a beautiful jungle clearing and the outdoor shower was perfect for cooling off, while the indoor bathroom was clean though the shower spray was rather weak; the location is fairly remote and Grab/Bolt don’t really work around Khao Lak, but renting a scooter right at the house was incredibly convenient and the owner was helpful, even arranging a taxi to the airport. Be aware that it’s a nature‑focused cabin, so any open or unsealed snacks will attract ants; the bed was fine but the pillow and blanket could have been better—I got a cheap pillow and a thin blanket—and the Wi‑Fi was practically nonexistent, only showing a single bar that wasn’t enough to send a message.
