“A great and quiet room, with a lovely view.”
The view from the room is incredible, with a mountain panorama from the bed. The bed was one of the best I’ve had during my four weeks in Indonesia. The pool is great and heated, which feels nice. The place is a bit isolated, so street noise isn’t a problem, but you do have to walk a bit to reach the city. Batur’s trek passes right in front of the hotel. Breakfast and the hotel’s cooking aren’t the best, so we often went into the city for meals. Flies are an issue, but that’s the same everywhere else in that region.
